The AD37 is a standalone device that interfaces with a PC and allows the pin code to be read from GM Opel & Vauxhall vehicles fitted with a system 1 immobiliser.
The specific system 1 immobilisers that the pin code can be read from can be identified by a coloured resistor mounted on the immobiliser circuit board. The immobiliser is combined with the aerial and is located around the ignition barrel. To read the pin code from these units the actual immobiliser must be removed from the vehicle, which is a fairly simple process.
Once this pin code has been read, keys can be programmed into the vehicle by using any Advanced Diagnostics key programming tool.
