DESFire EV3 is the latest addition to the MIFARE® DESFire® family of smart card chipsets from NXP. This latest evolution introduces the option of even more features for implementation, and HID® has taken full advantage.  HID Global’s dual frequency MIFARE® DESFire® EV3 + Prox smart card allows for seamless migration from 125 kHz proximity technology to the future-proof, high-frequency DESfire solution.

• Dual frequency smart card with 13.56 MHz (DESfire EV3) and 125 KHz (Prox) in the same card.
• Custom Programmed HID SIO with EV1 compatibility mode (DESfire) and HID access information (Prox) or supplied blank for use with third party applications.
• 55 x 86 x 1 mm.
• Composite card construction (40% PVC, 60% PET).

These cards are custom programmed and programming information will need to be provided upon ordering.
