The Neptune 6 channel Wiegand receiver is a long range, high security RF receiver which employs KEELOQ® code hopping technology. It provides 6 output channels of 26 bit Wiegand protocol and connects to the controller in the same way as a typical card reader. 34 bit Wiegand can be provided upon special request.
The RF signal sent from the Neptune keyfob is encrypted with KEELOQ® Code Hopping technology. The receiver then decodes it into a Wiegand 26 bit number and the output which corresponds to number pressed on the fob being 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6. This Wiegand ID information is then directed to the input on the access control panel. In this mode up to 6 entry points / devices can be controlled by the receiver.
There is virtually no limit for the number of keyfobs encoded with Wiegand 26 bit code that can be processed by the receiver. The Neptune wireless Wiegand receiver will only work with keyfobs encrypted with KEELOQ® code hopping technology.
Note:
- Our range of Neptune keyfobs can be optionally supplied with embedded coils and programmed in HID, EM or Mifare format for further integration into your access control system.
- All of our Wiegand keyfobs are compatible with our Neptune 6 channel relay receivers with 6 channels of relay output. Ideal for controlling multiple devices such as electric locks, garage doors and gates, for example.
