The Remsafe Block Lock is a versatile safety lock for sliding and sash windows.
It is an ideal alternative to existing window safety devices for installations with limited window sill or where the sill is greater than 4 mm thick.

New legislation was passed in March 2013 by the NSW Government to prevent children falling from windows.
All windows above the ground floor in any existing residential strata schemes must be fitted with a lock or safety device which prevents the window opening more than 12.5 cm by 13th of March 2018.
The Building Code of Australia which made window safety devices compulsory in new residential buildings from 1 May 2013.
