Wireless systems are a popular choice among installers who want a fast and simple installation. The WiComm Pro further reduces installation time with its innovative “Quick Learn” function for super-fast device enrolment.
Enrolling wireless devices via the main panel using the Quick Learn function is easy. Before you begin, ensure all devices have batteries installed and that the Quick Learn function is enabled on the main panel. Then, follow the steps below:
- Press and hold the Learn button on the main panel for 5 seconds. All three LED lights will flash one after the other to indicate the panel is in Learn mode and is ready for device enrolment.
- Next, send an RF signal transmission to the main panel from each device. To do this, you’ll need to refer to Wireless Device RF Transmissions table.
- Repeat step 2 until all devices are enrolled.
- Once all devices have been enrolled, short-press the Learn button to exit Learn mode. All three LED lights will stop flashing once Learn mode has been excited.
And that’s it! It’s really that simple.
